Wir schauten den zweiten Teil von Barbenheimer. Ich konnte mich lange nicht dafür erwärmen, dass Christopher Nolan die Biografie von J. Robert Oppenheimer verfilmt. Die Geschichte des Physikers, der die Atombombe erfand. Drei Stunden lang. Nichts schien mir langweiliger als das. Bisher sah ich alle Filme von Christopher Nolan, mit Ausnahme von Dunkirk. Dunkirk schaute ich nur aus jenem Grund nicht, weil mich Verfilmungen von Weltkriegshandlungen noch mehr anöden als Biografien von Physikern. Dabei bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass mir Dunkirk gefallen würde, schlichtweg weil Christopher Nolan keine Kackfilme dreht. “The Prestige” fand ich vielleicht ein bisschen schwach und “Tenet” ist ein sehr anstrengender Film, der aber immerhin viele gute Momente hat und mit einem fantastischen Soundtrack unterlegt ist.
Oppenheimer fing mich in der ersten Szene ein und liess mich drei Stunden lang nicht mehr los.
Abends kochten wir mit Bier und lauter Musik. Wir sangen zu the Pogues und the Doors. Ich legte auch mehrmals “El Condor Pasa” auf, dieses alberne Lied von Simon and Garfunkel. Meine Frau nimmt mich nicht ganz ernst, wenn ich das auflege, aber ich mag dieses Lied wirklich, es ist ein bisschen peinlich und auch kitschig, aber ich mag es sehr und ich lege es auch deswegen auf, um meine Frau zu ärgern. Und weil ich ein bisschen albern bin.
